Love Never Fails

Love never fails (1 Corinthians 13:8)

God has really been dealing with me on love. Don’t be deceived by the illusion of love that the world has created and even some Christians have perpetuated. It is not self serving and it is not driven by emotional highs that are predicated on meeting certain expectations without error. Love is about serving someone other than yourself (it is self-less not self-ish). It is a conscious choice and commitment made with the full knowledge and understanding that in your vulnerability you may be rejected; that the love may not be reciprocated; that they may fail to meet your expectations; yet you choose to forgive, to serve and to sacrifice in-spite of their imperfections. Yes love is a choice, it is a commitment, it is a sacrifice!

Love builds up, it does not tear down; Love covers, it does not expose; Love believes the best; Love meets you where you are while speaking to your future (1 Corinthians 13).
