The Love of The Father

ABBA FATHER.png

I am now learning in my adulthood how to use child-like faith to accept the love of the Father. Like the skin to skin contact that a mother has with her newborn, I am learning how to cleave to the hem of His garment and to rest at His feet. Psalm 91:1 says, “He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High, will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.”

In His presence I find healing. In His presence I find peace. In His presence I find joy. There is safety in His presence. There is restoration in His presence. There is preparation in His presence. His presence is the breeding ground for signs, miracles and wonders. In His presence I find rest. My confidence is built in His presence. My pride is broken in His presence.

Like a parent kisses the booboo of their injured child, so God kisses me with His love. He sings over me morning by morning. I pray that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all saints what is the width and length and depth and height to know the love of Christ which pass knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. (Ephesians 3:17-19)
