I am worthy.
There was a time that I allowed my value to be determined by my relationship status (single). I felt like something was missing from my life because I didn’t have a man. I felt unworthy and undesirable when relationships failed. This belief created a cycle of feeling rejected.
I used to believe that obtaining my degree would somehow add value to my life. That I would “be somebody”, if I had the title behind my name. I thought that the more degree’s I obtained the more influence I would have. I only ended up with a lot of book smarts and even more student loan debt!
When we allow things, people and circumstances to determine our value, we will never be enough because things, people and circumstances are forever changing.
The truth of the matter is my value is not in what I have or don’t have. It’s not defined by people, places or things. I am worthy simple because God created me! And so it is for you!
