Are You Seated?

It is so refreshing to know a love like this that yet while I was dead in my sin, dead in searching for affirmation in all the wrong places, dead in the knowledge of who I was and whose I was, dead in understanding that I was created for so much more than what I was settling for; God had a plan for me. He sent His Son to die so that I can live and as Christ rose from the dead and is now seated at the right hand of the Father so am I seated in Christ! He picked me up from the lowest, deepest and darkest place of my life and placed me in the light of His love. The best part about it is that it’s by no goodness of my own. I could not have done anything to deserve it, but it is only by the unwavering love of a good good Father!

No matter what you may be struggling with on this day, know that it is through the grace of God and by your faith that you are saved and because you are seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus that you don’t have to struggle. It is through the grace of God and by your faith you are able to overcome brokenness, you are able to overcome depression, you are able to overcome worry, you are able to overcome doubt, you are able to overcome sickness, you are able to overcome fear, you are able to overcome poverty, you are able to overcome addiction, you are able to overcome unforgiveness, whatever it is you can overcome it!
