You shall live and not die

Beloved, who told you that you can’t live an abundant life during times of uncertainty? Who told you that you have to be fearful and live a life confined to the four walls of the dwelling place that you once called home? Who said you have to worry about the housing market, the stock market, the public market? More importantly, why do you believe it? Stop listening to these lies. Stop regurgitating the negative self-talk and grab hold to the truth of who you were created to be.

God sent His son Jesus so that we might have life, and that more abundantly (John 10:10). Abundantly means to have more than enough. It means to overtake, to overwhelm, to overflow. So why then are you fearful (full of fear) instead of faithful (full of faith)? God said that He shall supply all of your need (Philippians 4:19) so why do you worry? If all things are working for the good of those that love God (Romans 8:28) then it doesn’t matter what you are facing right now because it will work out for your good in the end. You win even when you lose! So it is time to change the lens on your perspective and begin to focus not on what is going wrong; but put your sight on what is going right! You control your destiny my friend. Just because there has been some set backs doesn’t mean there isn’t a set up in the horizon! It is time to triumph during times of tragedy!

From Victim to Victor

1. Speak life:

Ezekiel 37 speaks of the valley of dry bones which represented dead situations, deferred dreams, stagnation, and complacency. God told Ezekiel to speak to the bones and to tell them to hear the word of the LORD (Ezekiel 37:4).

Be careful whom you allow to speak into your life, there are people who don’t have the capacity to speak life over their own lives much more yours.

Be mindful to speak what God says and not what you feel, not what you see and not what you hear. God says you are chosen (1 Peter 2:9-19), you are the head and not the tail (Deuteronomy 28:13), you are more than a conquer (Romans 8:37). You can do all things through Christ who gives you strength (Philippians 4:13), no matter what you go through God causes you to triumph (2 Corinthians 2:14). You win….even in times of despair!

2. Do You:

This website and my testimony was birth in the midst of adversity so if I can do it, you surely can my friend. Don’t allow society or situations to put limits on you or to define your quality of life. God says He takes the foolish things of the world to confound the wise (1 Corinthians 1:27). So where the world is in fear of loosing, we are in faith of winning! Now is the time to defy the odds and to start the business. Now is the time to quiet your spirit and to write the book. Now is the time to reach out to family members that you haven’t spoken to in a while that you have been meaning to call. Now is the time to take that class you’ve been putting off. Now is the time to take a walk and actually enjoy the beauty in nature that surrounds you. Now is the time to__________ (you can fill in the blank). Don’t just fill in the blank but start and finish the task.

I pray that this has sparked a fire within you to live a life of abundance free from fear, free from worry, free from anxiety. I pray that God gives you His peace which surpasses all human understanding as you navigate this temporary transition. I pray that your perspective shifts from what isn’t to what is and that you have a radical boldness to begin; creative wisdom to create, to build, to be; and a supernatural strength to endure until completion. Finally Beloved, I declare and decree that you shall live and not die (Psalm 118:17).
